Thanks to all of our dedicated members who traveled to North Augusta, South Carolina to attended our recent chapter meeting. Special thanks to Spartan Chemicals and Augusta Janitorial Supplies on providing vendor training and to National Health Care for hosting.
“Champions like to be measured”- Jim Chittom, this is one of the many take-aways from last week’s IEHA Chapter meeting. Because champions like to be measured, Blaine Riley from Augusta Janitorial and Bucky Snell with Spartan Chemicals provided us the roadmap/blueprint to accomplish champion level cleaning management in each of our facilities through CIMS (Cleaning Industry Management Standard) and Custodial Management Software.
Many of you face the same challenge and that’s justification of labor, equipment, and other materials. We learned CIMS brings everyone to the table and allows you to learn and speak the language that your leadership understands. When you began to seek knowledge of the how and the why, you quickly become more than just a Housekeeper, you become apart of the decision-making team.
