IEHA 50th Annual Convention

Day one of educational training has come to an end. I wanted to share a few take aways. Sherry Sidwell said something that resonated with me today. She said, “All work has honor.”  No matter the position you occupy, it all serves as a means to provide for you or your family.  No one knew this better than Martin Luther King, when he said “All labor that uplifts humanity has dignity and importance and should be undertaken with painstaking excellence.” Custodians do this daily and yet we take for granted the level of excellence and their role in public health and safety as well as customer satisfaction. IEHA serves as a foundation to educate and empower those who serve in a cleaning capacity. IEHA provides significant credibility through certifications in the cleaning industry. Their rigorous curriculum is to a level of achieving a college degree. Why don’t you consider joining IEHA today. You will be glad you did!
