Gloria Strauthers, REH, is Principle and CEO of Exodus Management and Consulting, LLC, and is an Independent Certified member of the John Maxwell Team of global Speakers, Trainers, and Coaches. With over 21 years of diverse business experience, Gloria has served as a speaker/facilitator providing staff training covering topics such as leadership, employee engagement and performance management. She has achieved success in fields of education, healthcare, facilities management, financial services and government.
Gloria received The Air Force Achievement Medal for building a medical record tracking system; which became a more efficient way of processing service members’ annual medical evaluations. As a result, Gloria became well-known for her attention to detail, work ethic, and integrity. Gloria’s compassion for people began while serving alongside her parents in her Father’s ministry and in the community. It was out of her own experiences of injustice and inequality in the work place that led to serving a Union Representative and member of the American Federation of Government Employees. In this capacity, she represented and defended the interest of her fellow co-workers. It is those years of serving others behind the scenes that has prepared her for the opportunity to serve others on a grandeur scale.
Prior to starting Exodus, Gloria served as the Assistant Director of Custodial Services within University Housing at Georgia Southern University. While in this capacity, she earned her Registered Executive Housekeepers designation through the International Executive Housekeepers Association and used it to add value to the 100 plus Custodians she led. Her mantra was “We Clean for Health, Not Shine.”
Servant leadership is the cornerstone of Gloria’s volunteerism. It has afforded her the opportunity to serve on multiple non-profit mission-driven boards, while always making people a priority. Currently, she serves as Chapter President of IEHA Georgia Coastal and has been a visionary leader who is committed to the continued advancement of the cleaning profession. Gloria is a proud Alumna of The University of Southern Mississippi, The Community College of the Air Force, and Tougaloo College of which she excelled in academia. Gloria was also an Honor Graduate and Class Secretary of the Class of 1994 of Brookhaven High School, of Brookhaven, MS. She lettered an excelled in Track and Field and participated in numerous extra-curricular activities. She is the eldest child of Daniel Wesley and Phyllis Wesley Lofton. She is married to David Strauthers and is a resident of the state of Georgia.
